To become licensed technician has to have the following:
 
Min. 18 years and above
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Submit an application to the New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy requesting registration as a pharmacy technician and application fee
A passport size photo.
Submit to a criminal verification check.
Answer application questions related to citizenship, immigration status and moral character.
Application must be certified by a notary.
